Select the option that describes your circumstances to continue with the enrollment process:
Live in the district?
Students are assigned to a school based on their home address. Use the school finder tool to see which school serves your address.
All students new to Anoka-Hennepin Schools or incoming kindergarten students should enroll online.
Interested in attending an alternate school option in the district?
Families living in the district may request an in-district transfer to attend a school other than their assigned one.
Live outside the district?
Families may complete an open enrollment application to attend an Anoka-Hennepin school.

Who needs to enroll?
- Families new to Anoka-Hennepin Schools.
- Incoming kindergarten students.
- Students returning after being withdrawn.
- Families moving into a different attendance area.
If your student is already enrolled and continuing to the next grade level, you do not need to re-enroll.

Steps to enroll
What you'll need to enroll
Birth verification
Bring one of the following:
- Birth certificate
- Passport
- Hospital record
- Baptismal record
Address verification
Bring two forms from this list:
- Driver’s license
- Utility bill (cable, electric, gas, water, or phone — dated within the last 90 days)
- Mortgage statement
- Lease agreement with current dates
- Tax bill
- Purchase agreement (such as an escrow agreement or contract for sale of real estate)
Student records
- Immunization records
- Previous school records
- U.S. transcripts (fax to 763-433-4683)
- Foreign transcripts
Optional but recommended:
- Emergency contact information — include name, address, and phone number

Online student registration (K–12): You can register your child online. After you finish the online form, the school will contact you with next steps. To find out which school your child will attend, use the School Finder.
Registration eligibility: Only a custodial parent or legal guardian can register a student in Anoka-Hennepin Schools.
